Combined Councils of Labrador 2006 Annual General Conference
Thank you to all the delegates, and sponsors who made the 34th Annual General Conference of the Combined Councils of Labrador a huge success. A special thank you to the Labrador Strais Development Corporation and the entire organizing committee.
With over 150 delegates registered the conference was among the biggest in the history of the Combined Councils of Labrador.
The 4 day combined conference started on January 26, 2006 with Municipal Training for over 40 Councillors and Administrators from all over Labrador.

The Conference was hosted and organized by the Labrador Straits Development Corporation.
The theme of the 2006 conference was, “One Labrador”. The entire focus of the conference revolved around regional and community cooperation. Solidarity, unity and resolve were also the main focus.
As in previous conferences the 34th Annual General Conference of the Combined Councils of Labrador provided an opportunity for Labrador Municipalities to discuss and debate various issues facing Labrador such as Transportation, Health Care, Fuel Prices, and the Lower Churchill Project to name a few.
The Combined Councils of Labrador were pleased with the outcome of the Conference. The Annual General Conference also allowed the Labrador Straits to showcase the region to 150 plus delegates in attendance.
